Marica’s Bio:

My name is Marcia Long and I have been professionally involved in dogs for around 30 years.  I have shown my dogs primarily in conformation.  My first conformation dog was severely under socialized.  That was the beginning for me.  I went back and studied behavior modification and as much as I could about dog behavior.  The world was starting to “get it” and I jumped on the bandwagon.

We now know so much  more than we did back then.  Behavior modification has become a way of teaching our companion dogs what we want and don’t want in our four legged partners.  I teach family manners, basic obedience, agility, conformation, Canine Good Citizenship, trouble shoot problems, basic animal care and how to have fun with and communicate better with your dog.
